Janek Meyn is a PhD Candidate in the field of Marketing at Kühne Logistics University since June 2018. Janek's work is embedded in the German Research Foundation (DFG) Research Unit about the marketing of hedonic media products in the context of digital social media. His research focus lies on the analysis of influences of digital social media on the frequency of use and marketing of music streaming.
Previously, he completed the Graduate Management Trainee Program “Start Technik” at Lufthansa Technik with projects in the field of Lean Management, Aircraft Base Maintenance and Product Planning. After the Trainee program he was responsible for an innovative VIP aircraft seating solution as a project- and product manager.
Janek finished his master in industrial engineering and management at the University of Hamburg, Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and Helmut Schmidt University in 2015. In scope of his master thesis he wrote a Business Plan for his Start-up idea in the field of organization and communication of amateur sport teams.
